My Favorite Blog Post

I'm choosing the Gordon Parks blog post because it shows how inspired I was to replicate some of his photos. I also favor it over the others because it shows me that I can take good pictures and edit them well also. It leads me to believe that one day I will become a great photographer.

I am choosing this because she's giving a real smile. It shows that even if you are restricted from the outside world, you can still be happy one way or another. The fences show restraint, and the background doesn't look that great but they still represent the outside world.

I think that these are the best photos that I have taken this semester because they capture emotions and keep you wondering what is making the model look the way that they do. Although the lighting wasn't the best, I think that I was still able to get good views of their faces.

The Pros and Cons of Working in Groups

+ Pros

• You get the extra help and support of group-mates
• You are able to get more things done at a time than when you are working alone
• Brainstorming with your group can lead to creating great ideas

- Cons

• Some group-members might end up working less than the others and get credit for the work they didn't do
• Disagreements can be common within a group and can cause conflict
• Group members may or may not want to participate in some activities

Why Does Mr. Farley Have a "Hecka-Free Zone"?

Now, I'm not really sure, but could it be that "hecka" isn't a word and that Mr. Farley dislikes the use of slang? Maybe he wants his students to practice the proper use of the English language! Maybe he feels uncomfortable with teenager's way of communicating...Maybe he's paranoid that teenagers are forming a secret code that adults might not be able to break!? Holy toledo. I don't have a clue.
